Minos & crazy batshit Scylla were the poetry set text I did for AS Latin! Seemingly ancient women are either mad with lust like her and post-spell Dido, or ice-queens being ravished like Cassandra and Daphne...

Hope your slippery walk to the Education Faculty goes OK! Wrap up warm and step carefully :D

Daphne was far too feminist for the ancient Greeks/where-ever that myth originated - come on, she refused to get married for her entire life, and her dad agreed, there's no way she wasn't going to chased through the woods by a horny God! Apollo isn't the worst choice, though. :) Yeah, they rarely actually change the language syllabus - I think every 3 to 4 years, or something. I have Cicero to look forward to soon enough also, once I get through Icarus and Daedalus, who are coming up. :)

Thanks sweetness! I shall indeed wrap up warm - I am the layer queen at this time of the year! You be careful around campus too! I'm still holding out for no snow though...
