The yarn that works the best is fuzzy, meaning mohair type. For Rose's I used Rowan Kid Classic in black and turquoise, which for reasons that confuse me the website pretends doesn't exist. The colors on the website look terrible. If mohair makes you itch, acrylic or other will do, but it won't look as cohesive and nice. They are rib-stitched and work best with two colors. If you paypal me I can buy the yarn here, but it is expensive and you might not like the colors. Also, they are not fancy up there at the top, just a little hole for your thumb. They are based on these wristwarmers I once bought from a girl online (she doesn't sell them anymore, bah!), and mine kick ass because I hate gloves (fingers need contact for warmth! and I can curl them up in the wrist warmers ( ... )
