Today I ate sugar snap peas and raspberries while standing around, surveying an old man's garden. His spread was admirable. His gifts of zucchini and home-fermented cider: most welcome. I'm hoping I follow in the steps of my Grandfather as far as health and verility goes. My Grandfather had a job well into his 90s and is still kicking. If I ever get my scanner back up and running I'll post a picture of him. He looks real cute in his bolero tie. He likes to polka. All the old ladies are after him apparently. They bake him pies he can't eat because sugar is bad for him. He jokes that they're trying to kill him - and he hasn't even married any of them yet!

Don't forget to buy him a fathers day card! He complains that he never hears from his Grandkids, and without his car, he has a hard time getting to the senior center. He's stuck at home alot more now. I'm sure he would love something from you!
