I can imagine the proprietor of Azar having trouble purchasing ( Read more... )

it's not intentional. it might even be my phone. the damn thing has these jealousy issues, see, and interferes when it thinks there's a possibility I might have an interesting conversation with a cute boy.

I got your text, but my phone won't allow me to text anyone in return (I shit you not - it's rebelling). I'm leaving town Thursday morning for a week and have a ton to do, but I'll give you a ring soon. :)

I was a Computer Science major with a bunch of free electives senior year and it was being taught by a Humanities professor who was one of my favorites. Whom I also had a huge crush on. :-) It was a fun course. We studied mostly classical Persian, and read the Shaname and the fables of Pilpay. The funniest thing was the professor was a huge pop-culture fan (her favorite movie was The Warriors), so we always had humorous tests, like translating Michael Jackson lyrics into Persian; Badam, badam! :-)

Here is some info on her: http://www.mazdapublisher.com/BookDetails.aspx?BookID=25

How about you?

I've been attending a Sufi school for about seven years. The lectures are broadcast in Farsi, then translated. I always wanted to understand it on my own...and Persian poetry is amazing.
