vitiligo

I have a white patch under my arm and it is not eczema. I hate the doctor for not being sure and for telling me that it could be vitiligo and that there is nothing you can do about it, but the patch you have shouldn't spread. I was up crying last night because I don't understand it and I don't want it to spread. :(
