Good to see you on here! I've been fascinated by PirateMom's accounts of the boys' travels, and am very glad that they're getting a chance to be seen by a whole new audience. Faire this year is good, but....very intense. There's a movement afoot to make it a more serious theatrical troupe, and the training has stepped up several notches. The energy is amazing - three weekends in, and people are chomping at the bit to get at the patrons. The fights are wonderful, our own Prowlingwolf is everywhere at once (fittingly) and fighters we had thought long gone have come out of the woodwork. We had every intention of coming out to Irish Fest this weekend, but allergy attacks and utter exhaustion (my health hasn't been that great lately, and Prowlingwolf is doing something faire-related every night of the week) led to home instead. It's like being caught in a whirlwind; a little scary, but a hell of a ride!
Wow, so Scarby is going back to serious theatre training? It was like that in the 80's before all the click groups got in. Good to hear, it gives the actors a challenge and the partons a better show. It will also weed out those who look at it as a social club. Had too years of that and is one of the reason I quit. Irish fest was good all around, sorry to hear about your health, know you have been fighting with it for some time. Hope you get well soon. As for the whirlwind life, my advise is better buckle up, it never stops, if you are lucky.
