Night wanderings

Is there anyone out there? I have developed a late night habit. Well, it is more like a "damn can't sleep again". So, have read the last 20 entrys of friends, etc.. and now have to decide whether to try and sleep or play Spider Sol. I think it is going to be Spider for awhile...

Actually about the time you were posting this I was rereading The Blue Sword for the umpteen hundredth time, wondering why my brain wouldn't shut down enough to let me sleep. So yeah...I totally get that. I'm sorry that the brain-swirl is keeping you up nights. Sometimes melatonin helps, sometimes some of the herbal teas will, but sometimes there's nothing short of the dangerous stuff that can slow that maddening whirl of mental chatter. Spider Solitaire is my mother's poison of choice, too ;)

I am afraid that the prowlings will continue. It is some of what you said, I do get busy mind some but the rest is I am just not able to sleep long periods of time. I use to take sleeping pills in an effort to get 8 hours of sleep but I found that I was not dreaming and I decided that I wanted my dreams back. So, I wake up in the middle of the night after about 3 hours and wander around until my body tells me to go back to sleep. I get my dreams and about 6 hours total of sleep. Good trade off I think. I also take naps sometimes in the afternoon. Thanks for the advise, tea always makes the shadow times better
