dream home.

i keep dreaming, in grand detail, about the an enormous pre-war apartment* -- rooms within rooms, crown moldings, fireplace(?), clawfoot tubs. despite its magnificence, it is in dire need for paint and has a minor but extensive list of needed repairs. we signed the lease on it three dreams ago.
tonight, i returned again to my alternate dream life.

oh I love that! I've never had recurrent dreams that returned to the same exact space, although I've visited the same general geographies/landscape in dreams (I remember flying over a house in one dream and remembering that I had another dream in the past set in it)--I have recurrent elements, though. For a really long time it was trains/train stations, then that subsided, and now it's something I call "the weird sea" or "the weird ocean."
