SATURDAY!
Been a BUSY day so far. I started with going to the gym with my friend Deb just before 8 and had a good workout. Then it was back home to do laundry and some other housework; I alo managed to get the lawn raked and the grass cut for the last time this year. BACK HOME...BACK TO "ORDINARY" THINGS!
We got back to the Twin Cities a couple of hours ago from a FANTASTIC weekend away! I had to go get groceries and am doing laundry, while (almost, as I'm glad to be back with the "kids") missing WOODLAND TRAILS, the bed-and-breakfast we visited this weekend. LOOKING FORWARD TO THE WEEKEND!!!
We have plans for this weekend and I am SO looking forward to it!!! Won't say too much about it, except that it involves friends, and doing a lot of fun stuff, including eating hot dogs and toasting marshmallows around a bonfire....:) More about that later!!

HOUSECLEANING AND PIE-BAKING DAY
I went to the gym this morning before 8AM, came home and started the laundry and housecleaning routine. As you might have seen from hubby's LJ...we are expecting company tonight, so I decided to bake a couple of pies. YESTERDAY, TODAY AND TOMORROW...
We had a lovely day yesterday. The weather was a little chilly to start with, and later on the wind picked up more than I would have liked, but the sun was out and it was a gorgeous fall day. My right arm is stiff and sore this morning from working out with weights at the gym yesterday. No wonder. I've had a problem with muscle pain in my right arm for a long time, and since I've been favoring it, I think I lost some muscle strength and my left arm strengthened as a result. AFTER A LONG WEEK...AAAAH!!! A LONG WEEKEND!
It's been a loooong week and I'm very happy the weekend has finally rolled around. Even better - Monday is Labor Day and it's a paid holiday for me. We were kicking around a couple of things to do and decided we would probably head for an all-day stint at the Great Minnesota get-together...The STATE FAIR.
