Putting the Summer in Jars
Another canning season is slowly nearing completion. Even though the garden has been far from its best this year, it's been a highly productive year for canning.

Finding our piece of Paradise
So, this is the property we're looking at. It consists of 3 buildings---a 10 unit motel, a second partially remodeled building that could be shops, more motel rooms, even apartments (which I understand are sorely needed in the area), and a large modular home which also houses the office.

Day Seven: Four silly quirks.
- I must have white sheets.
- Fruit on the side is fine, but no fruit on my pancakes. Not in my oatmeal, either. And no whipped cream or chocolate chips on my waffle---also,ice cream on my waffle is not a treat, Mom.
- I can't say "officer" for the life of me. No matter how I try, it invariably comes out "ociffer".
