Summary: Leo and Hyuk go on a date sort of.

Notes: Anna challenged me to writing in 30 minutes but this took almost an hour. Sigh. It's still not done.
Hyuk couldn’t believe his luck today. First, he was the last to wake up so he didn’t get much time in the bathroom. Second, he forgot his headphones so he had to listen to Hakyeon nag all morning. Third, everyone was so busy there was no time for fun. They had a photoshoot for a magazine that went pretty well but they were on a strict time limit. Of course, that didn’t stop him from lingering around when the others were taking their pictures. He really did admire all of the other members but he thought Taekwoon looked the best today. Normally it was Hongbin with his flashy smile and dimples but even the others could out shine his looks sometimes. Today was one of those days for Taekwoon. It helped that he’d been getting better at posing as well. As he watched Leo leave the set, he called out “Hyung, you did well!” but received little reaction besides a look his way. Not that that’s surprising, as Taekwoon rarely dropped his chic facial expression. He was called up next and heard a quiet “Do well too,” from behind him. A glance back and he saw that Taekwoon was watching him. Hyuk smiled brightly and said “I always do well, don’t I?” and went to sit on the stool.
Taekwoon watched Hyuk. He was envious - no, he admired how effortlessly comfortable Hyuk looked in front of the camera. It seemed that maybe he belonged there - another thing Taekwoon admired. There was something else at the back of his mind too. He loved Hyuk’s smile, the youngest being happy truly gave him joy as well. He wished he could make Hyuk happy all the time, especially since he seemed off today.
Hyuk finished his poses and was called off the set and brushed shoulders with Hakyeon. He winced a little bit expecting to be nagged about something else but all he got was a “Good job!” and Hakyeon was in front of the camera. He looked around and didn’t see Taekwoon, though he had been there a few minutes ago. He walked to the back room where the other members were waiting. Jaehwan and Wonshik were asleep next to each other on a sofa, leaving Hongbin and Taekwoon watching videos on separate tablets. Taekwoon glanced up and Hyuk took that as an invitation, so he flopped down next to him on the other sofa.
Taekwoon was still watching Hyuk when he saw Hakyeon step up next to him. “He’s cute, right?” Hakyeon started. “I’ve been nagging him all day, I think he needs a break,” he said and looked at Taekwoon. “You’d take him out, right? I’ll take care of the others.” “Why me?” “Why not you?” “But he - I - I don’t know,” Taekwoon’s face was starting to heat up. “C’mon, I’m sure he’ll enjoy it!” He sighed. “Fine,” he said and walked back to the waiting room. He heard Hakyeon giggling from behind him. He found Hongbin off by himself watching something and Jaehwan and Wonshik sleeping. Hongbin didn’t even look up, he was so absorbed in whatever it was, so he grabbed his own tablet and sat on the sofa across from Jaehwan and Wonshik. He sighed again. What was it about Hyuk? He was detangling his earphones when he saw someone enter the room out of the corner of his eye, he glanced up. Speak of the devil, he thought.
“Hakyeon thinks I should take you out somewhere,” Taekwoon said immediately. Hyuk looked at him. “Take me where and for what?” “I don’t know - he said he thought you needed a break, I think he feels bad for nagging all day.” “He should feel bad for nagging all day. Besides how are we going to take a break in the middle of the day?” “I was thinking we could go out for lunch and ice cream and go to the park maybe?” Taekwoon sat up and looked at him, finally done disentangling his earphones. “Well that sounds better than going back to the dorm, I’m game,” he said and leaned on Taekwoon to look at his tablet. “What are you watching?” “A movie that Wonshik recom-,” though he didn’t get out the rest of that sentence before Hyuk rolled his eyes and took the tablet out of his hands. “No, stop.”
