I know exactly how you feel. I work in accounting processing travel vouchers for the military, and gov't employees. I sit in front of the computer and stare at the screen all day, and putting my headset on is the only exciting thing that happens, that and play email games with a friend that happens to be on-line the same time...games like.. name 5 of your favorite bands and explain why or what are your thoughts on life on other planets....etc etc. I guess those aren't really games, but anyway. My job is quiet boring and draining. It's really one of the main reasons why I decided to go back to school at an Art Institute. Hopefully that will keep my creative senses intact.

P.S. Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on...

Yeah, I have to take mini breaks to chat via email. Or I kind of pretend like I'm working but really I'm just staring at the computer screen. I also forget how to speak. I'm so quiet a large portion of my day that when it's time for me to speak it doesn't come out like I'd want it to. *sigh* That's cool that you're going back to school. What will you be studying? I'm thinking about taking some classes next quarter just so I can get some stimulation.

Interactive Media Design...web design, animation, some audio/video elements too. But I just thought about it, if I ever do finish and get a job, I'll still be stuck in front of a computer. Dammit!!
That's ok.....at least it will be more colorful. (I hope)
Oh, and don't worry. You're not the only one that pretends like they work.
