Spent most of this morning getting the word count and correct page numbers for each chapter. A fellow writer asked me how many pages I had, what my word count was. I worked this morning on the next chapters I'm going to give to my group for our meeting on Sunday. I'm disconcerted to see that I've added about 20 pages somewhere from the first draft. Remember? I've only been adding, not subtracting, when I wanted to cut my word count. Damn ( Read more... )

Not much writing these days as CH 55 proves a bit sticky. There's a lot of info that comes out in "the letter" and its original delivery was a bit skimmy. This updated delivery is 1st person narrative, so it can't be as skimmy. Which means adding to the word count a bit ( Read more... )

I didn't write AT ALL yesterday morning! I did get up early and sat in front of my computer, because it's what I do, but I couldn't produce anything because my last breath of writing is still trapped in my crashed laptop.
