Today was the beginning of P.A.C.K. (Pack Assorted Colors for Kids) Week...Cute idea...I make sure Lissy's lunches are healthy anyway, but they got to wear colors to match the days...Today is Purple Day...Lissy went to school dressed in head to toe purple...Adorable, right?...Not so much when you look around the yard and no one else is wearing so ( Read more... )

Silly you! Why take care of your kids and raise them? That's what we have the government for! It's the government's job to do all the important stuff, didn't you know that? If you do stuff for your kids, you become responsible for them! We can't have that, let the government do it. Then it's the government's fault if anything goes wrong. Isn't that much better? See, now you can relax, have a few glasses of wine and watch some Reality TV!

Wine? In this 'hood it's a bit more hardcore than that...Do you know how many times I've heard "I couldn't breastfeed, 'cause I couldn't wait to have a drink after giving birth!"...Oyyyyyyyy...

I get what you mean. Tab's school is the same way, it's like "Hey, I can get this for free?!? Sign me up!!" No thanks....I'll feed my child a healthy breakfast at home and pack her what I feel she should be eating. It's not that hard to take five minutes out of your evening to pack a damn lunch!!

Dude, I'm all for getting shit for cheap or free...But if the kid hates what they're serving, they basically starve!...The old school didn't send home a lunch calendar, so noone knew what they were serving until it was served...Fortunately, her new school sends home the lunch calendar, so she can let me know when to pack her lunch...She let me know half the time she was taking 2 bites of the sandwich I packed or putting it on the "share table"...lol!

I know some babies like swings and bouncy seats. However, they are not babysitters or a means to occupy your children. I'm glad to see you're still doing things your way...and loving it!

I know some babies like them...I just don't like that, no matter how many times I insist I don't need one, people keep trying to get me to get one...The funny looks don't help much, either.

I love watching Rez rock himself in his car seat...Better for his muscle development. :)
