Warning: This ended up being a longass post.
Today was an okay day, as far as first days of schools go. Mostly.
First! I waited FOREVER for a bus. Then when one came, I got on it. But I didn't realize that it was a 188 and not a 132 so I had to get off and walk back to a 132 bus stop. I felt really stupid because that was the second time that I did that.
So because of that, I was almost late for my first class (Mechanics/Physics). As far as Physics goes, I think it'll be an okay class. I remember in my Physics class last semester people were saying that the teacher I have now was better than the teacher I had last semester. I say no one's as bad as Kuznetsoff, so I should be fine.
My book's gonna cost like $150 though. But it's the only Physics book that I need to use for the rest of my classes so that's not too bad if you think about it. And my teacher said that the version we have to get is better than the original version because instead of having one fat book, they split it into three and we'll only have to carry one at a time so it's more practical.
So after class I went to eat my lunch. I was starving. I decided to sit next to the lockers so that when Sam came I would see her. My lunch was delicious. I had two sandwiches. Although I was so hungry I think I would have been happy even if I had rice (I hate rice).
After I finished eating, I was reading Eragon. It's super late to be reading that, but I got bored because of my spazzy Internet during the first three-ish weeks of break so I finally started to read the copy that we had at home.
Then Jess shows up out of nowhere! She was finished for the day, not counting her math that's a night course. (As I'm typing this, she's probably heading back to school.) So she wanted to go to Oliver's to eat her lunch. Since there's a microwave there and she apparently opposes to stinking up the caf with her Alfredo sauce but not that place. Since I didn't know when Sam was coming to school (I forgot to print the schedules) I figured I'd go with her.
Then we realized that we needed to get the new stickers for our ID cards. So we asked around and we went to Conrod's to get the sticker. There was no line so we were all happy and smug and stuff.
Then we finally went to Oliver's! There was a paper on the microwave and it said "If your lunch blows up, please clean it up" which we found hilarious.
While she was eating, I went on her Mac. It was cool, but I prefer Windows to Macs. I'll always be a Windows child at heart.
So then Chris came and I was all "grrrr". And after a while Carm came too since I think her teacher let her out early since it was the first class and all. She went to get a book at the bookstore before she came though.
After a while I decided that I wanted my new DS. Since my mom said I could get one. So we went off to the Zellars. But they didn't have any. So we went to the Source. And the didn't have any there either. Then Chris decided to go home (I silently cheered.) and we went to the Future Shop. It was across the street from Alexis Nihon, so we decided not to get our jackets since me and Carm had class in like half an hour and it would take too much of our time. We probably looked pretty stupid.
They had it at the Future Shop so we got it. I got it really. It's a black and red one. That colour selection for the DS was seriously made for me! I'm gonna name her Yuna, after my character since black and red are practically her colours.
Then me and Carm had to go to humanities class. Carm bought Mini Eggs from the Pharmaprix... I think the one near school is a Pharmaprix anyways. I don't remember.
Anyways, the class was really weird. Like, I still don't know what we're supposed to learn in this class. At all. The teacher was talking about atoms vibrating and stuff and it was all really random.
Carm kept eating Mini Eggs during the whole class and it was driving me crazy because she'd keep fidgeting every time she went to get an egg and I kept nudging her for fidgeting.
When we left class, Carm got a text message from Jess and it said something like "Guess what I got in the mail". And I was all "My ToS~ It's here~~~"
So we called her and told her to meet us at her metro station so that I could get it from her.
Before we left, we went to get Carm's sticker for her ID card. You should do it soon too Sammy. Before the line-ups get huge.
Then we went to Jess's metro stop and I got my ToS and now I'm all happy. I should finish this play through soon so I can start my second one~
