First Books of 2024

It has been a while since I have done one of these posts, but I would like to get back into the habit as I quite enjoy them. My 2024 hasn't gotten off on a great start as the family was horribly sick for the first week. We never tested positive for Covid, but it sure felt like the Covid I had last year. I hope you're all feeling better now! There's something awful out there right now. My younger kid had something around the first of the year and it took her down, hard. Then I got it and it was bad. The only one to escape was my older girl and I think it's because she's been working nights and is sleeping while we're up, so she wasn't as exposed.

Great start on your books this year, too. Just finished my first Agatha Christie book yesterday - The Murder of Roger Ackroyd. Looking forward to more!

It was pretty awful, but we have finally recovered. I hope you guys are all back to normal as well!

Agatha Christie is a great writer. Her books are just so readable, that I find myself flying through them. Plus, pretty much all of them have been adapted for tv/movies, so there is plenty of fandom to mine.

She's fabulous. I'm sorry I waited so long to try her. Yes! And I have subscriptions to both Acorn and Britbox and am going to dive into Poirot soon!
