I wish I could have a mind for sci-fi like I do with fantasy. I just have a harder time getting absorbed into such worlds. Robots, spaceships etc. The technobabble is more confusing than the magicbabble. Not that I don't like sci-fi (I do like some of the Gundam series and a little Star Trek), just saying that it's harder for me to absorb than ( Read more... )

I've always thought fantasy is easier because magic doesn't have to have an explanation. Well, not a logical one, anyhow. Technobabble throws me off too.

I've never read Ender's Game, but a friend of mine absolutely loves it. Hopefully you'll at least like it a little! That should make it easier to trudge through it.

You'll do great with your project! I'm sure of it. c:

Ahaha. That can be really bad too, but I kind of like it when it's in a *~fantasy~* setting. Reality be damned.
