 “I was with someone...”

Kurt stared at him in disbelief.

“It was Sebastian, wasn't it?” Kurt asked, his voice choked with tears.

Blaine closed his eyes and let his own tears fall. He could hear Kurt's breath shudder out of him and he wrapped his arms around himself.

“Yeah. Yeah, it was Sebastian.” Blaine admitted softly.

A sob caught in Kurt's throat and he pressed his hand over his mouth.

“Why? Why are you telling me this now?” Kurt cried. “Why would you do this?”

“I was lonely and I missed you and it wasn't supposed to mean anything.” Blaine tried to explain but there was too much, too many feeling welling up inside of him.

“It wasn't supposed to mean something? Does it mean something now?” Kurt asked angrily.

“I'm pregnant! So yes, it means something now!” Blaine shouted, his heart beating fast in his chest.

Kurt froze and stared at Blaine as if he'd never seen him before. Blaine knew in that moment that it was over. They'd never be able to move on from this.

“You're pregnant? You went to Sebastian, had sex with him and now you're pregnant? All because you were lonely? Don't you think I was lonely-- that I had temptation? But I didn't act on it because I knew what it meant.” Kurt spat, moving away from Blaine.

“I'm really sorry.” Blaine murmured, hanging his head in shame.

Kurt didn't answer, he was already gone.

Blaine gasped as his back hit the locker. It was the third time that day and Blaine knew it was no accident. The two football high-fived each other as they left him struggling to catch his breath. He wasn't prepared for this. He'd been ready for locker shoves and slushies when he'd first transferred but then they'd won Nationals and everything had seemed alright. Even after the jocks had stopped actively hanging out with them, there had been no bullying. But now they all knew he was pregnant and that made him a target-an abomination. Blaine crossed his arms tight and made his way to the choir room.

Blaine chose the chair as far away from his fellow Glee club members as he could. No one acknowledged him. It had been like this since he'd come home from New York. Word of his infidelity had spread like wildfire and the remaining seniors had aligning themselves with Kurt. Unfortunately, the new recruits had followed suit, leaving Blaine very isolated.

“I think we should talk Sectionals.” Mr. Shue announced, writing haphazardly on the board.

“I agree. I think we need to talk about solos.” Artie agreed, wheeling around to the front of the room.

“Now I'm sure you all remember our diva show down to see who would be the next Rachel Berry.” Artie rubbed his hand together slowly and looked at Blaine.

Blaine felt his stomach drop. He knew where this was going and he wanted to get up and leave before Artie had a chance to embarrass him. This wasn't about Kurt anymore-- it was about loyalty. Blaine had slept with a Warbler. Blaine was pregnant with a Warblers baby. There was no way that Artie was going to keep him as a lead soloist.

“I previously chose Blaine Anderson to be our new Rachel. Unfortunately, his new...circumstances will prevent him from taking on the role. We will be holding re-auditions.” Artie announced before rolling back to his spot in the choir room.

“Guys, I thought we discussed that the Glee club isn’t about just one voice. It's about everyone working together.” Mr. Shue disagreed.

Blaine knew that there was no use staying anymore. He grabbed his bag and headed for the door. He slowly made his way towards his car. There was still a part of him that hoped someone would chase him and apologize but he knew it was too much to ask for. He was so lost in his thoughts that he didn't realize that the football team were coming out of the locker room and heading towards him.

“Damn, here's this faggot again. I thought he would have learned his lesson already.”

Blaine shrunk in on himself and walked a little faster. The guys behind him laughed cruelly.

“I think he's trying to get away!”

Blaine's brain screamed at him to run but then he was flying backwards. He hit the locker with a resounding crash and landed hard on the floor. He stayed down. He didn't scramble to pick up his books or try to get up. He didn't want to give them any reason to push him again.

“Dude, I think he's unconscious.”

“Good, maybe we shook something loose in there.”

Blaine listened to them walk away and held his breath. He didn't dare make a noise until they were outside. Then he took a long shuddering breath before gathering up his stuff. There was no use trying to leave now-- the jocks would see him going to his car. Instead, he staggered towards the auditorium and curled up in one of the chairs in the back. He felt safe in the dark room and he finally let the tears he'd been holding in fall. He was so wrapped up in his misery that he didn't hear the door open or notice someone sit down beside him.

“I'm sorry Artie did that, dude.” Sam said quietly.

Blaine jumped and hurriedly tried to wipe his face dry.

“It's not your fault Sam. It's my own fault for getting into this mess.” Blaine sighed.

“So you're really pregnant?”

“Yeah. I know it's not too common but it does happen. It's a recessive gene on my fathers side and it's not something I expected to happen.”

“And you're sure it's that Sebastian guys?” Sam looked uncomfortable but Blaine knew he had to ask.

“Yeah. I uh, was never in a position to get pregnant with Kurt.” Blaine muttered.

“So you never...oh!” Sam looked down at the ground nervously but Blaine couldn't help but smile at his friend.

“Yeah, I never. I just didn't think it'd get around this quick.”

“That was Kitty. When she found out, she went super conservative and started talking about how you're carrying the spawn of Satan. She's a hot cheerleader so of course the football team is on her side. I'm sorry dude.” Sam slung an arm around Blaine's shoulder and squeezed him.

“I didn't expect Glee to be like this though. I knew they'd be mad I cheated on Kurt but this is ridiculous! It's like I have no one on my side.” Blaine felt his eyes well up again and he covered his face with his hands.

“You have me. And uh, you have Sebastian, right?”

“Yeah, he knows. He's been really nice about it. I don't want to pressure him though.”

“Does he know about the bullying?” Sam asked carefully.

“No.”

“Dude, they've been pushing you around all week!”

“I know but--”

“You need to tell him. Someone needs to come pick you up anyway. You don't look like you could drive yourself home if you had to.” Sam brazenly reached into Blaine's bag and pulled out his phone. “Call him or I will.”

Blaine snatched his phone out of Sam's hand with a glare. He didn't call Sebastian though, he shot off a quick text and tucked his phone into his pocket.

“How do I know that you texted Sebastian?” Sam asked, his lips twisted into a frown.

“I did Sam, really. I just don't want to call him in the middle of Warblers practice.” Blaine leaned back and closed his eyes.

“So what are you going to do?”

“I'm not sure yet. My parents don't even know.”

“I'm here for you dude.” Sam squeezed his shoulder reassuringly.

“Thanks, I appreciate it. I have a feeling I'm going to need it.”

Blaine felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. He checked the screen and sighed when he saw it was Sebastian.

“He's on his way now.”

“Good. You need to tell him everything, Blaine.”Sam said seriously.

“I will. I promise.”

“I'm gonna head back to glee. Text me if those football players come in here and mess with you.”

Blaine watched him leave then dropped his head down into his hands. He was still sitting like that 10 minutes later when Sebastian walked in.

“What happened, Blaine?” Sebastian asked immediately, throwing himself down beside Blaine.

Blaine sighed and tried to find the words to describe what he was going through.

“They all found out about me...about us. Apparently, being a pregnant gay man is an abomination around here and the homophobic bullying that drove Kurt out of here is now aimed at me.” Blaine said, trying to keep his voice cool and detached.

“They hurt you?”

“They've shoved me against the locker a few times but...”

“They hurt you. You are not staying here Blaine. You're not staying at a place where I will have to worry about you and the baby every day. You're coming back to Dalton.” Sebastian said, his voice final.

“There is no way my parents are going to let me transfer again. They don't even know I'm pregnant!” Blaine cried.

“You haven't told them? My mom is so fucking excited.” Sebastian shook his head slowly, looking at Blaine with wide, serious eyes.

“They're not going to be happy.” Blaine muttered.

“You won't know until you try. I'll come over with you and we can tell them together.” Sebastian suggested.

“You're being really great about this, Sebastian. Thank you.” Blaine said, leaning his head on Sebastian's shoulder.

“I told you I was turning over a new leaf. No blackmail, assault or criminal activity this year and I'm serious about it. I'm not a nice person B, but I want this to work. This is a chance I never thought I'd get and I'm trying not to ruin it.”

“We have to take this slow. I'm so confused and overwhelmed and hurt... I'm not ready to jump into anything.” Blaine explained quietly.

“I know. I'm not going to rush anything...though I will be honest, I cannot wait to get you naked again.” Sebastian smirked.

Blaine let out a startled bark of laughter. He couldn't help but smile at Sebastian. They had a lot of hard times ahead of them but Blaine knew that they could work through it. They had 9 months to learn to love each other.
