Oh this is so beautiful! It's so good to hear from you again.

I love that even with all the armor, she isn't wearing a helm. Meeting the enemy face to face, no holds barred. Simply wonderful.

Beautiful! So glad to see your art coming back as well as your writing.

A good many people, especially working in pencil, lavish great attention to the details of textures and tones, but neglect the solid drawing underpinnings of a piece, yours has a solid woman sitting on a rounded horse, a horse whose eyes are visible through real holes in a mask, not pasted on, but with a real sense of the distance between the layers of the mask and the animal's face beneath it.

Is the face a self portrait? So glad this helped you win your fight. May the prognosis continue well!

A gorgeous picture! Wonderful details on the horse and the armour, and the rider looks very determined. Great!

I didn't know about that diagnosis. *hugs* Hope all is going well again. And in that light this picture is even better.
