Thanks for letting me know your favourite bits. I'm glad you enjoyed this Christmas gift. I couldn't miss the chance to include James. If PotC can resurrect Barbossa, it can jolly well bring back James! I figured James would not appreciate a gift that had anything shady in its provenance and that Elizabeth would be savvy enough to know it. Have a great new year!

I'm so glad you enjoyed this, and recognized the homage to my favourite thief. I'd just found Leverage when I wrote this fic, and I loved that description so much. I am very much afraid that I shall have to write Leverage fanfic in order to satisfy my craving. The research files have already begun to collect. But I have some major WIPs here in the PotC community that I have sworn upon pain of death to complete first.

The radiant girl and the striking young man clung to each other in a kiss so passionate Jack had a momentary urge to look away. He quashed that in favour of enjoying the view and anticipating the moment . . . Ah! There it was . . . when the two of them broke away breathless and trembling, and Will Turner noticed.....
There was, Jack marveled, already a bit of the Madonna in this wild colt of a girl.

That description of their kiss and Jack's sweetly tender observation are just beautiful. Could see it clear as day.
