[Going to get milk has never been so annoying. Or, you know, deadly. She's not sure what hurts more - the fact she nearly got brained by a whole shelf of tinned pineapple or the deep gash that runs across the back of her arm and shoulderblade. Certainly she knows which injury is going to be harder to deal with ( Read more... )

[Turns out the wrong people... are already on their way back home. As he passes up Karai, he notes her cuts and tsks at that.]

That doesn't look good at all, Karai. Slip in a puddle? [He doubts it.]

[...oh hell no. Here she was trying to creep through her window and everything just to avoid this-- why did you have to be out here? ...she's missing one of her swords, too. And her voice is venomous without turning, fumbling to slam the window up.] No.

[He just leans up against the building, watching with mild amusement at her sneaking in to her own bedroom.]

You shouldn't go picking fights with your fellow cellmates.

What I do with my time is no concern of yours. [There. Window open, she doesn't care how ridiculous this looks. Excuse the bloody handprint she leaves on the windowsill as she vaults inside.]

[And he knows. So much for keeping their existence here, from her.]]

You should learn when to run. You were out numbered. You would also be wise to remember you don't have back up here.

[She did run. This is besides the point.] I forget nothing! I merely inform you that if your family chooses to fight me of their own volition, I will respond in kind!

[With his brothers not really talking to him, Don occupies his time by flipping through the journals.]

[Where he is surprised to find an entry from Karai.]

[Filtered, and, a little digging shows, to Leo.]

[Don hasn't really hacked a journal entry yet, but Karai's filter seems like both a worthy and a worthwhile first target.]

[It takes him a few minutes to work his way in, and then he watches silently, not giving away any hint of his own presence.]

Then don't taunt them. They were there to shop. If you don't want to fight, then don't instigate it.

[His tone is even and a little sharp. A little annoyance is slipping in. Between Karai fighting his brothers, and the issues going on with Don. His stress level is up. Pleasantries? Gone.]

[Oh hey! That pretty, kinda sort of creepy, fast building climbing, angel lives here! Isn't that...

...is that blood?

Vash pauses in his trip back up to his apartment. Only slight, he sees you already have "help", but not that, that man you're with seems to be doing much in the way of helping.

Instead of giving you another headache while injured he continues up to his apartment to put what he could find for groceries away. Man, that store was a mess. It took him forever to find what he needed.

Hm, and then he comes home to find an injured angel. He wonders....

Either way, expect a knock at your door a little later after Jack leaves. Vash just can't help himself and wants to check on you.]

[Door opening. She has an epic lineface before she sees who it is.

You might have a few seconds to form a better impression, use it well 8Db]

[Not that Vash is casually sliding his foot to jam the door in case you try to shut it or anything. It's just how he happens to stand! But you could be hurt, so joking is pushed aside for right now.] Are you alright?

[Oh great, it's you.

...you know, the second she realised, she'd already formulated an answer. But she was expecting another question entirely, and so you can practically see the No! forming on her lips before she blinks and glances down at your foot, before glancing away.]

I am fine. Thank you for asking.
