[Karai went to Lucetiland like many others, but she has yet to take a tour of the grounds. Well ... not in any conventional manner. The amusement park with its hotel and rollercoaster and other such rides makes for an excellent high-level training area, and that's what she'll be doing most nights after the majority of residents has gone home. [There's one rather familiar night owl up on the roof this evening. He's been to the park a few times to people watch, and try some of the games. It's the hotel with it's high roof that keeps drawing him though. It's tonight that he spots Karai on the roof too. Hmm, first Saki now her. An interesting spot to run into old enemies.]

Karai. [He'll step out of the shadows he'd been in, watching her to see what she was going to do. He's not on attack, but he will defend if needs to. His tone is steady and calm, though a little guarded.] Out enjoying the evening?

[Karai's first reaction is to turn sharply towards him in surprise, but she goes for no weapon and her look is more bemused than hostile. Ninja are attracted to tall building tops, aren't they? She just didn't expect to find Leonardo in an amusement park.

After a moment, she exhales and turns away again.] I suppose you could say that. It is... certainly different than the village.

[It's a reminder of home.]

[Especially ninjas from NYC, who are used to watching from above.]

Yes, a good change in perspective. [He glances out at the park from the roof.]

I've been wanting to talk to you. [Actually talk, not talking while trying to kill each other.]

[Somehow, she is not surprised at that, either.

Karai turns her gaze to the flickering lights below.] I am not going anywhere.

Honor is trusting and being trusted. It gives meaning to actions.

[That's...different. The idea that trust and honour are mixed makes Karai raise her eyebrows. She can see the point there, but... she writes back.]

Some would say trust has little to do with honour and more to do with naivete.

There are many kinds of trust. I believe that honor is being trusted to be what I am and do as I do. If I give my word, then it is true. I trust an honorable creature to act the same way.

[...by this person's definition of honour, Karai has none at all. That's not a particularly comforting thought.]

I understand. Thank you for the further explanation.
