That being said, she isn't about to make any requests of him. She has her own groceries, and one does not partake in meals made by complete strangers in any case. But it's enough that she decides to stop in at the kitchen before heading for her new home, slipping in quietly. She may as well start here in getting to know the building, after all.
And that does smell appetising.

There's a dish nearby with a very large amount of what looks to be fettuccine alfredo with some sort of fish and a pile of colorful vegetables on the side. Sadly, he made too much again because it's so hard to get used to cooking for just one (and he doesn't quite trust the refrigerators yet).
There are sounds of dishes being cleaned in the sink. At least Karai's neighbor is polite and does clean up after himself, right?
