Honoria's grandmother and grandfather were slaves of African descent. Her mother Charity was born after slavery was abolished, but she could only find work as a servant. Honoria was born when Charity was around 35, and the birth was difficult

Only who her father is. I also really want her to have an undercurrent of rage but I haven't done a good job of portraying it. Maybe I'll pick a date for her mother's death and have Honoria getting angrier and angrier up to that date. Not sure.
She had no idea what the Neath was like. She just knew there was nothing above for her. Since she's come to the Neath, Honoria's been able to experience so many great things that I think she wants to stay. These may or may not include: her job at the Crimson Ring, the friends that she's made, and her new relationship with Asher. Plus, she still hasn't completed her task.
She loves to read. Honoria feels self conscious that she didn't go to school, and so to compensate she reads voraciously. She also likes spending time with Knives.
