'Tipping the Velvet' ftw! That book changed my life. I also recommend 'Fingersmith' by Sarah Waters - it has a killer twist and a fab read!

It's certainly a powerfully written novel, and it's awesome that it helped you to reach the happiness you now have (which I presume is how it changed your life!). Hope you and Gemma have a great 2008 together!

P.S. wild horses couldn't keep me from Fingersmith...I'm on a proper Waters fad here!!
