Azula, [he blurts out, then takes a second look at her.] What's -- going on? [Asking her what was wrong with her probably wasn't the best way to start this conversation off, he admitted to himself; he hadn't seen her in long enough that the familiar aggravation was slow to come, behind the initial bewilderment and the pleasant ache of family.]

The nightmares have been a problem for a while. Something different every night, more terrifying than the night before. Megara was a strong woman, but these terrors felt so real it wasn't so much that she was running from sleep as she just couldn't.
It was all well and fine until these ghosts that everyone's been talking about decided to play with her. She was always relatively safe in the presence of Hades. How long has he been gone now?
She pushes the thought away as she turns a corner and comes face to face with one of the deceased. Great. As he reaches out for her, she turns on her heels and bolts down another corridor, the ghostly image in pursuit.]

Meg, are you okay? [he asks, halting neatly in front of her and reaching out to grab her shoulders and steady her from all the running. Staying put for a moment would be more readily defensible.]

I'm fine. [She offers a cautious smile as she scans the area. Finally, as she reassures herself that the entity has scampered off to better things, she turns her attention to the hero of the day.] Just entertaining a little company. You look terrible.
