So finally I watched Super Hero Taisen...
Verdict? This was so funny and confusing I don't even... I wonder how do people who had no inkling of Japanese language feel when they watched this? Not saying that I understand everything that was spoken, but thankfully since I do understand a bit, I wasn't totally lost in the story. Guess once people start subbing this I'll understand better.
Still... this love story between Tsukasa-Daiki... and Marv-Joe, not sure I can stomach them in the same time.
That aside, Tsukasa's logic of roundabout way of defeating their dead-but-came-back-alive-but-never-explained-how-did-they-managed-that former enemies still baffled me. Because this can't be Marv's idea, because he couldn't have Tsukasa's ability to be able to kill people and resurrect them back using memories of them. Which makes me think instead of killing them somehow Tsukasa devised a method of transportation to allow Marv and him to teleport the other Riders and Sentai members to some other dimensions while appearing as if they just killed tons of heroes. But I supposed... this roundabout 'lie' was meant to lure the DaiShockers and DaiZangyacks into a false sense of security so that they could get them to take out that metal thing that somehow allowed Big Machine and Gigahorse to gattai. But how did Tsukasa and Marv managed to convince both sides of their former enemies to accept them as their leaders?
Sigh...
Narutaki... I thought you know better. I thought you'd be able to figure out that Tsukasa would turn the whole 'kill everyone ploy' to backfire on him. Tsukasa done it already before... TWICE!
I bet Narutaki had a hand somehow in getting those guys that's supposed to be dead together. Though, not sure if all of the 'revived' kaijins were the same ones that had been defeated in the past or they're from another alternate universes. Similarly, I had to question about that same issue with the heroes. While the Rider (Heisei pre-Decade) side could easily be explained away, on the Sentai side... well, it's the same issue as for 199. Since Imma staring at you, Black Condor and Time Fire. Since both of you were supposed to be dead... and that reminds me. After the conclusion of Gokaiger, who ended up keeping Time Fire, Black Condor, other sentai members that had died in the past as well as the ones killed by Basco's Ranger keys? Haven't really been looking at the whole lineup... during the final fight, for the sentai who should be dead already... who's been using their keys to transform and fight alongside Decade and GokaiRed? But I suppose, that's not really important cos if those people were just using the keys to transform that should be explained away easily if anyone wanna make fics on it... but if those people were meant to be the original members I'll have a beef on it.
So yeah... putting that as my headcanon. For a different assigned person to take over the ranger keys and succeeded the original sentai members after the pirates returned them all.
And after all that, I had to question Daiki's logic too. Sure, I'll throw a tantrum on Tsukasa to for hitting me with the sword but taking over the monster robot and try to become the final boss? Daiki... why?
And Tsukasa becoming so fluffy at the end why you're so cute, huh?
Sigh.
