[tutorial] how to credit an icon maker
Hi guys! I know most of you do know how to credit an icon maker, but some honestly don't. This tutorial is nothing more than to inform. I hope you find it useful!
001. Firstly, you need to find the section of LJ for icons. If you use the Horizon layout, go to Profile, then Manage Userpics in the top navigation bar.
If you use the XColibur layout, go to Manage, then Userpics in the top navigation bar.
If you use the Dystopia layout, go to Your Settings, then Your Userpics in the left navigation toolbar.
002. After you've located the Edit Icons section, you'll need to upload your icon. Click the "browse" button to find the icon you've saved on your computer. You can write a description of the icon in the Keywords section, or you can give credit there. If you write a description of the icon in the Keywords section, credit would go in the Comments section. You can credit whichever maker @ hooahicons, or just the maker, but here we prefer you add the community name at the end.
