Feeling depressed. Yes, I know...What else is new??

We currently have 19 people working at the contract, not including myself, for the City of Scottsdale. The new company will be taking over, whether they're ready or not, on December 1st.

Between now and then, 9 of my co-"workers" are going to quit. We were a couple people short to begin with, so

This is not sounding very good. It sounds like you are going to be very overworked. At least there is a little pay rise in there for you. No wonder you're depressed!

Nice raise, but with all those people quitting, they might wanna increase that for those staying. :o
What will they do, just have you sit and watch all the cameras at night or just randomly patrol places? :o :o :o

Good question. Operations is harder to fill than patrol, but there will only be 2 supervisors left, effectively, who can do nights....and I'm one of them. The schedule for next week is going to look interesting...
