Well...our governor issued a Stay at Home Order today. I usually stay at home anyway unless I have to go to work or visit the grocery store or other essential errands. Streets have been looking much emptier. Fewer accidents that way & drive time is better. I guess there is some good to come out of this situation ( Read more... )

Scary world out there.....

Had some good times at work yesterday as 3 people called off sick. Back to bare bones skeleton crew. Some bug is going around the workplace. I left there this morning with a minor sore throat . I have been in bed since I got home and have been taking things to try to avoid symptoms getting worse. *sniffles*

Yeah, still here.

Mom's birthday went well. Got her a comfy, fuzzy robe and a pair of warm slippers. My brother took her out for dinner since I had to work...again/still. I finally have time off next Wednesday & Thursday. I can get my truck in for some repairs then so I can get my vehicle tags, I hope!!

Gifts are wrapped.

Going to grab a couple hours of horizontal inactivity before dashing off to my shift on this highly soggy night.
Going over to Mom's in the morning and spend a few (hopefully) festive, happy hours. It will just be the 3 of us, but I'm sure we'll make the best of it.
