This post describes so well how I feel about my dogs. Those moments of connection I had with Jessie always made me tear up. When I see old men with old dogs, and the dogs just gaze up at them with total love, it also tears me up. I don't care what anyone thinks, the connection you can have with your dogs is one of the most beautiful things in life.
