I typed a fairly long reply from my phone earlier, but it got eaten when a txt message came through. ::sigh:: So here's the short version.

As a fairly new fan, and having seen seasons 1-6 in rapid succession, its basically the Sam Show. I mean, Dean is always getting pushed aside by something else. Season2!Dean (guilty, grieving, distraught) is forgotten as Sam's destiny is explored. Post-hell!Dean is overshadowed by Blood-Addict!Sam. Savior/Vessel!Dean is tossed aside for Resurrected!Adam. (Yeah, that's kinda a good thing, but they could've locked Sam in the panic room while Michael killed Lucifer-in-his-Nick-suit.)

I kinda think it's intentional though. John basically programmed him from age 4-5 to protect Sammy, so even if the show was from his perspective, it'd still be all about Sam.

I was just going to say. Ever since S7 started, I can't go more than a couple of weeks without someone complaining about how it's become the Dean show. (wich, imho is as ridiculous as thinking of it as the Sam show ;)) Bi Winchester love ftw ^^
