Dean has a PTSD related panic attack somewhere public. Sam isn't there, but a military veteran who has PTSD recognizes what is happening and helps Dean through it. Then afterwards they vaguely talk about it, with the vet assuming that Dean was in the military as well.

WOW. THIS WAS SO PERFECT.

Seriously. People calling Dean kiddo is my favorite thing!!! And when Dean reached for Curt's shirt, it reminded me of one of my all-time favorite SPN moments: in Malleus Maleficarum when Dean was in pain and reached out and grabbed Sam's shirt. ;_; Dean being all clingy was so cute and sad. I absolutely loved Curt, he was so sweet and caring and understanding. Of course Sammy at the end KISSING DEAN'S HEAD ♥, and "special forces" is such a perfect response.

I pretty much adored this! Concerned strangers taking care of Dean is an awesome trope and them Sam showing up and cuddling him and kissing his head (&hearts!) made it even better. Dean is totally special forces and deserves to be treated like a war hero *nods* Great job with this :)

SOOOOO much love for this! This is perfect in every way. Love Dean reaching out to grab the guys shirt. But the end? Guh! Love that Sam says Special Forces - so, so true - and kisses his head... yeah Sammy! I still feel cheated that show never gave us PTSD... but this goes a long way to making up for it

And btw? Can't believe this is your "first time" - you must mean doing the meme, right?
