[mod post] So, I said I was done posting about the fic challenge for awhile…

…but I LIED. ;) There are a few loose ends I’d like to comment on.

What’s going to happen to the leftover prompts from the challenge?

ETA: You guys will be able to re-prompt any untouched (unclaimed or claimed but unwritten) prompts from the last fic challenge during our next fic challenge. ;)

I’ve had a few people ask me what’s going to happen to the leftover prompts from the Dean-focused hurt/comfort fic challenge.

How about this? I’m definitely not going to discourage anyone who’s inspired by any of the leftover/unclaimed prompts. So, prompts/plot bunnies that weren’t picked up by anyone in this challenge (i.e., prompts that are not crossed out in the prompt list) are no longer part of the challenge, and are open for anyone to adopt!

If one catches your eye now or in the future, feel free to snag it. Like I said, it will NOT be a part of the fic challenge/be tagged under the fic challenge tag/be included in the fic challenge masterlist, etc, but on the other hand you won’t have to follow the fic challenge rules, etc. As many people can write a leftover prompt as choose to, and there's no need to claim a leftover prompt, although you may of course want to let the original prompter know that they’ve inspired you. I’m sure they’d be thrilled!

Please note that this applies only to leftover prompts (i.e., prompts that are not crossed out in the prompt list.)

Want to be a beta? I think you dooooo.

I should point out to our newer members that this comm has it's very own beta-reader list which can be found HERE. If you think you’d like to beta Dean-focused hurt/comfort fics, please consider signing up to be a beta. We’re in need of betas more than ever now that we have 86 CHALLENGE FICS COMING OUR WAY!!!

86! I’m still not over it!

Okay. I’m done, for real this time.
