Well looked around on the net and found a DIY antenna for you wifi router. At first glance I was skeptical but after I stuck them on, wow. The windsurfer antenna is great! I went from running at 11 mbps and not being able to load most pages back up to my normal 54 mbps with 73% connectivity. Plus with the antenna on the back of my computer I now ( Read more... )

It's awesome. I was excited about it. It reminded me of the times my cousin and I used to make foil extensions on my walkie talkies so we could go further...

Yeah, because you definitely don't look like a weirdo walking around with walkie-talkies that have super huge foil antennas sticking way up over your heads...

Well it made it to where instead of just being bound to the yard we could use the whole block. The huge foil antennas were just a plus. We look cool with our home made satellite dishes...
