I too have noticed that most of the latch hook shelves are full of Disney and Cartoon characters. I just finished a Scooby-Doo latch-hook, which is intended as a gift. I tend to turn a lot of my finished pieces into pillows and give them to friends and family. I'd like to find something out there other than Disney/Cartoon characters as well,

To attatch the latch hook to the wall, if you have left over canvas at the top, you can fold that over and then put a piece of wood(a small rode works well) through the loop that the canvas makes. Then the wood, that should stick out apprx. three inches on each side can rest on two nails that you put in the wall.
