Just want to say hello since I just joined. I have been latch hooking for over a year now. I'll try to post pictures once I have them scanned. I haven't had much time for making rugs lately because I have been so busy with schoolwork, but the semester is almost over so I hope to get back to it. The last rug I did was a large one of a sailboat,

I've been keeping them for myself for when me and my hubby move into our own house. I'm planning on making my best friend one for graduation though.

I usually give them as gifts...but have a few on my wish list that I'll be doing to keep for myself.

I usually make small cushions for others as gifts. My two complete large rugs I have kept, the white tiger and the dolphins. I do have a large rug for my mother in the closet, but by the time I am done who knows if I will give it away. It is hard to part with anything that I spent so much time on. The same with cross stitch, I make smaller ones for gifts but the larger ones are for myself or my Fiance. Crochet I would give away because you can only have so many projects.
