Binding

I'm just about finished with my first project, and I need to know how you bind the outer edge.

I haven't exactly bound any of mine yet. I have several finished rugs that haven't been bound :) But, I'm pretty sure you sew the binding tape as close as you can to the edge of your rug then turn it over and hand sew it down to the back. Of course you'll have to trim off the canvas down to about and inch away from the yarns.
