I miss you, you and you...

Not too long ago, I was having lunch at Plaza Sing, and out of the blue, my niece jumped right in front of me!

I was really shocked, because I had expected her to be in school... And I asked myself the stupidest question: "Is this girl my lovely niece?!"

Apparently she was sick that day, and instead of going to school, my sister brought her to Plaza ( Read more... )

Yeah it was so sweet, the way my niece jumped with joy (literally) when she saw me...

And yes, I am living with my mom and dad now... The house gets really quiet sometimes... Good and bad lah...

That's really sweet=) I lament that nowadays families are more and more fragmented... i'm not close to any of my extended family... "aunt", "uncle" and "cousin" are now rather alien terms to me=(

It's true! What a pity. Recently I had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of time with my maternal relatives cuz of CNY & my cousin's wedding. It's weird...I was even chatting with this younger cousin who looks like a splitting image of my brother - except slimmer and slighter 'hotter'.

I just can't help but feel such lost seeing how fragmented our families are these days.

Honestly, I think it's all about making the effort to meet up regularly... It has to start somewhere... It's similar to sustaining a close friendship...

And if gets too awkward to start doing so (for cousins), do it together with your siblings? It's much easier and more natural to do so together...

I will be dropping by my sister's place soon! =D
