I'm going to start this by saying, yes I have issues that I am dealing with. And yes, I love that people enjoy the holidays. I think it's fantastic that people have specific times that they just decide to schedule as "holiday".

That sounds rough, but I'm glad you're focusing on it now. I don't exactly have a similar problem, but I can tell you that if you're worried about pleasing people, love ONE thing that they cook, and they won't really notice how little you eat of everything else. If you make your enjoyment of that one thing really positive and expressive, they'll lighten up on you.

Yeah, sharing is good. I dunno, I think it's a good thing for me as a friend to know...as your friends it's not like we want to baby you or anything, but we want to make sure you're comfortable. What you're talking about isn't commonly talked about, but...there's nothing ludicrous or extraordinary about it. You said you're working on your issues, so...no worries. This is something that seems to make life harder for you, so you're trying to make progress, and there really en't nothing wrong with sharing progress.

Kiddo, you are not the only one with the "crunch" issue.

My Grandmother makes soup and stuff from scratch. I'm always the one to get the "crunchy" piece. It's horrible. My throat closes up and nothing goes up or down. It's actually a very common thing - I know, I talked to a lot of people about it just to make sure I wasn't completely nuts.
