NYC to Tony's Totally Still A Secret Lab of Secrets, Tuesday Night

After writing enough code to make your average person go blind the previous day, Tony was putting it to test. In flight. It was a damn good thing he was both a genius and had redundancies in place should something go horribly wrong. Because something would. His life was a special one

Once the armor was off and his new shiny piece of enemy tech was tossed onto a nearby workbench, Tony was stretching to work out the kinks that came from smacking into a helicopter.

"Okay, let's get started," he said to himself. Because he was a genius. It was allowed to be a little strange like that.

The fact that Iron Man led him back to that goddamn school was actually less surprising than the Ghost really wanted to think about. How did he not put this together before now?

"You know, I actually feel a little dumb right now," he said, suddenly returning to visibility as he put his camera away. He had all the proof he needed as to Iron Man's identity.

Tony inhaled sharply, hands going still over the device beneath his hands. A little like a startled rabbit. Maybe if he didn't move, he wouldn't be seen...

"Do you?"

"Just a little bit," he replied keeping an eye on the kid. "But right now--I'm mostly just feeling rich.

Steve hurried to Tony's lab after getting a message from him. Always such a joy. "Tony? What's wrong now?" he called as he entered the totally secret lab. Was he injured? He was probably injured.

Heeeey. He was totally not injured. This time.

For now.

"I'm in trouble," he said instead of a friendly hello.

Yes but how was that new?

"What's happened?" Steve asked instead, because he was nice like that.
