I had wondered out loud how they managed to play in such cold weather (especially the clarinetist)... now we know!

Ahhh! It makes sense now! I remember hearing that people in the crowd were getting hypothermia, seeing the handwarmers on the pianists hands and wondering how on earth she could move her fingers much less play an inaugural performance. Very impressive!
