That is a nice looking guitar.

I've been thinking of playing again and ... hey! My guitar is a student one my parents got me when I was 15 - 30 (+ a year) ago. It may be time to buy myself something nice. :-)

That was pretty much my mindset -- "I want to buy my own guitar, something I pick out, and something with a bit more wally to it than the student guitar."

Nope, the viola was me, but that's kind of fallen by the wayside -- it was interesting to learn, but it wasn't what I really wanted to play.
