It begins -- PROMETHEUS BRIDE
Starting Nanowrimo off with a bang by almost hitting my daily word count by 4:38 AM -- 1437 words, and the novel is off and running. What really helps is that it's epistolary, and I can do that really, really well. I need to write down the outline and plot beats tomorrow, but so far it seems to be going pretty smoothly. Might as well use the heat
I am pleased to report that Operation Lemonade from Lemons is working nicely -- both retractable clotheslines are up and the first one is holding a full load of wet clothes. Today all the the couch/futon covers get washed and sun dried, and tomorrow will be all the bedding ( Read more... ) -

And I just discovered that the Grey Girl has been licking herself raw in what would be the armpit on a cat -- seeing as she snuggles with JJ every chance she gets, she obviously picked up on the mites he had. My right one, yes, sure, been bollixed for years. I'm used to that. But why am I starting to have problems with my patella popping out of its track on my LEFT knee? And why do both knees feel like they've been pumped with more fluid than a Butterball turkey ( Read more... )
