Well, it's official
Apparently I can write SF/police procedurals. I just sent my Doyle and Marcott short story off to an antho editor, and it's been held for consideration. *Insert Moravian Dance of Joy here*

As more of our tax return flies out the door
I may have mentioned that I needed to get my brakes seen to so that the Hoosiermobile could pass the state safety inspection. Since Toyota of Richardson is within spitting distance of my office and their service dept. does safety inspections as well, I decided to drop the car off there yesterday for the necessary repairs ( Read more... ) -
Okay, slightly better today
An hour in the hot tub with alcohol, then a swim afterwards helped, as did an hour of AVATAR (which I didn't see in the theater -- the Blu-Ray version is indeed gorgeous, but the story line is to laugh).
