In which I am a bad, bad, blogger.

So 2011 turned into a bit of a sucky year for personal blogging and 2012 isn't starting off on a sparking note either.

Oops.

Anyway, I figured I'd do a round-up of 2011 anyway for those who are interested. (Assuming, of course, that anyone is still reading this thing).

Books Read In 2011: )

Your reading list really does put me to shame. Rather than new books, I have a bad habit of lapsing into the re-read.

That aside, Baskerville annoyed me on so many levels. I didn't mind the Scandal in Belgravia so much until the ending really, really annoyed me with the easy way out and "oh look! We beat her anyway! And rescued her!"

Otherwise, have been keeping out of mischief up in the breezy north.

I should put a photo up showing what the reading list looks like. I've got books everywhere. In fact, I'm a bit worried about transporting them all as I've got to move flats this spring. The removal blokes aren't going to thank me.

Good to hear you've been keeping out of mischief. How are your family doing?

The whole series of SHERLOCK this time has just been tedious IMO. I haven't gelled with any of it and the abuse of Molly has really pissed me off because it was so needless.

I've started having facials to try and look after things now that I'm "getting on" and I've invested in decent moisturisers. I kind of hate myself for doing it though.

Scary too read list. If the too read is expanding each year it could be time for a cull and donate some to charity unread.

Also California & Dragoncon? JEALOUS.

I did a mini-cull before Christmas but I can't bring myself to cull any more. It would feel like the books are beating me ...
