30 Day Lolita Challenge - Day Nineteen.
Day 19 - What’s in your make-up bag?
I don't actually have... no wait, I think I do, I just use it to store my curlers at the moment. They come out and it magically becomes a makeup bag again when I have to travel somewhere overnight. Otherwise my makeup lives in the top drawer in the bathroom.
Soooo, what's actually in here?
OLAY - SPF15+ - 50g
Moisturise me, moisturise me! (Dr Who, why this quote stick in my head so badly?) In any case, moisturiser to keep away the dry skin ick, sunburn ouch and uv urg.
COVERGIRL True Blend - Ivory
I pretty much go for the palest cover I can find since darker ones tend to make me look orange and sickly. TT_TT
COVERGIRL - Translucent Light
Powder to take away the shine from the cover. I bought this years ago and it's only just halfway used. O.o? It's not that I use little of it or something, I just think it's got a direct link to hammer/spandex-space.
MAYBELLINE New York - 20 Velvet Crush
Bought recently as a change from the warmer tones I'd been using to something a bit colder and darker.
MAYBELLINE New York - Dream Mousse Shadow - 155 Rose Kiss
Love this stuff, I really should buy more from this range. In any case, this is what saves me from the colder palette (sp?) that my eyeshadow is at the moment, if I feel like it.

3. SAVVY by DB - White
The black and the white ones get the most work out as I only really bought the green one to add touches to a halloween costume a couple of years ago. It does come in handy now and then though.

What can be said for Cow? Cow is a super secret agent man that hides his true nature from the disbelieving public... the fact that he is also a pencil eyeliner sharpener.
MAYBELLINE New York - Full 'n Soft Mascara - Black
For thicker, much more noteworthy lashes. Mine aren't terrible, but a little extra help is always appreciated.
Extra brushes to play around with. I feel just a teeny bit more savvy (and dopey admiting to it) for owning them.
Papaya & Mango Lipgloss
Generally some sort of lipgloss lives in my bag, but it travels with the rest of the makeup when needed. It's also sort've replaced most of my lipsticks. Still have a couple (red, brown, black, purple, glow in the freakin' dark) for specific looks but find gloss better most days.
GLOW Mineral Powder - No. 2
Bought this to try and get some colour into my cheeks as I'd noticed that I could look a little lifeless sometimes... and have since decided that this is waaaaay to dark for me. I try and use the minimal amount possible and I still can come off looking like someone's streaked my cheeks. Gah. I will perservere to find the best way to use it... somehow. (I spent money on it, I'm using it!)
