Death is never easy; it shouldn't be if you have an ounce of humanity in you. I've worked in long-term care for two years and have watched people on their deathbeds and have had to take care of one person so that the funeral home could come pick up the body. The experience was very surreal for me ( ... )

Like Rebeca said, death is nery easy if you have an ounce of humality in you. Death is a natural human process (think back to Jodi's Life Span class). To be honest with you Sarah Jane, I want my mother to live forever too. But like that quote that Rebeca put " A Parent should never have to bury their child". It has happened on my dad's side side of the family and it scared the crude out of everyone. My cousin Shaun died at age 11 from minigitis and my cousin Zachery died at age 15 months from heart failure. It is sad. I don't think my Aunt Lisa and Unlce Mike have truly recovered from Shaun's death.
I am very overproctective of my mother because of the hell that she has been through with my father and my step-father. I NEVER WANT TO SEE HER HURT!!
Just pray for your parents Sarah and the Father will watch over them.
