When Ford "flew" the Jumper out of the room, he technically didn't fly it. Instead the Jumper was already on from Zelenka working on it earlier. There is a since where Ford knocks Zelenka out when he goes into the Jumper. I think. It's been a while since I saw Siege 3. Anyways since the machine was on, he can activate it and command it to go through the Bay and down into the gateroom and out the gate.
So afterwards he bascially just abandoned the Jumper and gated to another world so no one can trace him.
Why I know all this is kind of disconcerting. =P

On the Farscape subject, I know that John was given the microbes, so he would have understood what the locals said. But it was a planet without space flight (kinda like Earth) so the locals wouldn't have had the microbes. They should not have been able to understand John or D'Argo, but they did.
