That last line really expresses what we see in her when she's first taken to the Black Pearl for that fateful parlay. Lovely callback to CotB Elizabeth.

Yes, although she was scared, you could tell just how it also "thrilled" her. Glad you liked! Thanks for commenting!

Aye; that were the first launching of the Education of Elizabeth.

My own favorite indicator of how she'd changed was the bit where she stared down Jack the Monkey (uh-oh, indeed!)

Oh, definately. Next part in Elizabeth's education...the island (the deleted scene especially).

I, too, loved the scene with Elizabeth and the monkey! :)

Thanks! Yes, that day changed a lot of lives. But she, especially, grew up a lot that day. :)

Yeah, buddy, you got that last sentence nail on the head!! What a very cool bit you've writ and thank you for sharing.

"Improper Fascination. The words used when speaking of her." Lovely bit this==truer words were never spoken.

Thank you! I can just hear the older ladies of the town gossiping about the somewhat "odd" ways I'm sure Elizabeth had with her fascinations with pirates and the sea.

Thanks for reading and commenting! Glad you enjoyed!

P.S. - You're icon is adorable!

She's my pretty old girl, Elle Di (she said--cos she talks a lot and sometimes, the Anti-Christ, becos she can be monsterous!) She's 9 and helping to raise all the others. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving.
